* 05 Jun 1999 * Well, it's been awhile, hasn't it? I haven't added any files yet, but I'm demoing a new file database system. Please try it out, rate programs, etc - click here. I'll be fixing up the page, maybe adding files, etc., in the next few weeks, because I finally graduated from high school! Thank God. So, keep programmning!

* 27 Jan 1999 * I added 10 more files today - the page is growing once again. :) Anyway, I now am hosting the forum with BESEEN.COM, because they do not allow HTML within messages, which is very nice and will get rid of stupid posts. Sorry about all the advertisements the forum has, but it's the price to pay for a safe forum. Keep programming!

* 24 Jan 1999 * I added 10 new files today, and I'm continually working on the page whenever I get a chance.. I have a lot of neat ideas to improve it. But until they go into effect, PLEASE submit your programs and links using the new forms so I can finally get this page going again! Thanks. -DZ

* 21 Jan 1999 * Ok, so here's the deal with new links and files. I can only accept files that are ONLINE (i.e., hosted on Geocities or something) right now - just use the link at the bottom of the "files" page. As for links, I'll take link suggestions through the "links" page - go there and follow the instructions. Look for more new graphics, new layouts, new files and links, etc. in the coming weeks. Peace.

* 19 Jan 1999 * I'm redesigning a lot of the page (finally). I hate to disappear for long periods of time, but, anyway, I'm back. Be sure to read this page for more info on what's going on. I'm redoing the graphics for a new look, and I'm going to have new things goin' on - a new way to submit files, a better links system, and all that jazz I should have done awhile ago. So, anyhoo, please DO NOT send any submissions to submit@qbasic.com for now, I'll find a better way to take them.. thanks! And yes, I did "save" the forum. I just hate seeing people ruin a good thing. Happy programming. :)

* 30 Aug 1998 * I added a bunch of new progs and links today.. unfortunately, I will be starting school again tomorrow and my time will be seriously cut short. I'll still attempt to update this page at least once a week, though, so don't fret. QBasic.com will still be alive and growing. Meanwhile, keep sending me your programs to submit@qbasic.com.. the more, the merrier!

* 26 Aug 1998 * Wow! We're number 3 on the Top 50.. please vote to make me #1! Anyway, I added 21 files today, bringing the file library to 290 files (not including anything NOT listed in the categories). I fixed a few problems with the Q&A board, and I'm working on a lot more stuff, including reviewing more links (which is taking more time I expected). Anyway, keep sending me your programs!

* 21 Aug 1998 * I'm adding more challenges today. Please send me your ideas! The page is continually expanding, so let me know what you think of the new additions.

I finally put myself on the QBasic Top 50. Let's show everyone that this page is the BEST QBasic page on the Internet! Vote for me, please. But no tricks - I won't give you any JavaScript alerts or anything. :)

* 19 Aug 1998 * I replaced the old, crappy forum with the new forum at forum.html. It's actually a Miva programm called BBoard, and works *very* well. Spammers will be easily identified by IP address, so we can block them... :) Try it out! It's nice!

* 18 Aug 1998 * There's 12 more files online today, and I STILL haven't been able to get the darn new links and challenges and files stuff working!! It's very frustrating, but it seems like the page is growing nicely. We're almost up to 100,000 hits since May... not bad! I'm actually able to reply to some e-mails now to answer questions, but you can probably catch me in the Java chatroom sometimes around 3pm... you can give me your suggestions, gripes, questions, or whatever. I can't get the forum to speed up, so I might have to find another program... and I've got to clean out the Q&A page as well. Don't worry, though, all in good time. Have a nice day, and happy programming!

* 12 Aug 1998 * I'm attempting to do a frames version of the page, which should be finished soon. Until then, there will still be toolbars at the top of all of the other pages till I figure out a way to make 2 versions of every page. The new links section will be finished soon (possibly tomorrow), and the challenges page is coming along. The address "submit@qbasic.com" FINALLY works, so start sending me your programs! I want to do another files update tomorrow as well. Keep your eyes peeled and this page bookmarked!

* 8 Aug 1998 * There's been lots of changes lately. Hopefully you like them. I still need you to submit new programs, especially games - there seems to have been a lack of them lately. Anyway, things are going good - the bookstore is rather popular, and I'm getting further developing a new challenges and links section. Unfortunately, there's still a lot of bugs in the programming I'm doing, so it might take awhile. Anyway, keep programming, and support my sponsors (CyberThrill, amazon.com, and CDNOW)!

* 17 Jul 1998 * Revamped parts of the site with new graphics and added new sections - QB Newbies and The QBasic Bookstore. Will add more programs in a day or two. Please tell me what you think about the new graphics, format, and sections. I thought the index would look a lot less cluttered this way and would be easier to navigate.

* 3 Jul 1998 * This is really funny.. no news for a year? Wow! Anyway, in case you haven't noticed, there have been some changes around here. A lot more files (about 40 or 50 in the past few months), a guestbook, a chatroom, a new Q&A section (just added today), a forum, and loads of other stuff. There's more coming soon, like a searchable file database that you can add files to yourself, and a better message forum, as well as a bunch of other stuff. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please e-mail them to me with the subject "IDEA" or "SUGGESTION" (go figure). Other than that, keep programming, and look for more files in the next few days.
